Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 May 2026 · Governed by the laws of England & Wales

1. Who we are

Revival Index is operated by Revival Index Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number pending at launch). Our registered address and contact email are hello@revivalindex.com. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Revival Index Ltd.

2. What we do

Revival Index is a directory and matchmaking service. We help you identify items worth restoring and route them to independent UK restoration businesses ("Restorers"). We are not the restorer. The contract for any restoration work is between you and the Restorer.

3. Quotes and bookings

Estimates shown on our site are guidance only, based on recent comparable work. The binding price is the one a Restorer confirms after seeing your item. You may cancel a booking at any time before the Restorer begins work. Once work has started, the Restorer's own cancellation terms apply.

4. Postage, loss and damage

You are responsible for packing items adequately and for any pre-existing condition. Items sent via our prepaid label are insured up to £250 in transit; higher-value items must be declared and additional cover purchased. Restorers carry their own insurance for items in their care — claims for damage during work go directly to the Restorer.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload anything illegal, infringing or offensive, not to misrepresent ownership of items, and not to scrape or republish our directory without written consent. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Revival Index is limited to the greater of £100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that these terms do not affect. You also have a 14-day right to cancel any paid service purchased online, except where work has already started with your consent.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days.

9. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England & Wales, save that consumers may bring claims in the courts of their country of residence.
